Biography

Liu Qi was born in Shandong province in 1979. He graduated from Shandong University of Arts with a B.A. in Fine Arts in 2001 and M.A. in Chinese Painting in 2005.
Liu has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including Devotion to Ink organised by Galerie Ora-Ora at Hong Kong Maritime Museum (2014), Qian Xiang - Liu Qi Solo Exhibition Beijing (2014), The Future Superstar - Contemporary Next Generation of Young Artists Invitation Exhibition, Taipei (2013) and 2012 Art Beijing. He is currently working and living in Shandong, teaches Chinese Painting at Shandong University of Arts.
