KIAF SEOUL 2023

Ora-Ora is pleased to announce its participation at Kiaf SEOUL in September 2023. This is the gallery’s second participation at the South Korean art fair, and a consecutive showing since 2022.

Ora-Ora’s 2023 presence at Kiaf SEOUL gives centre stage to artists Juri Markkula, Joseph Tong, Stephen Thorpe and, for the first time, Yi Yi Jeong-eun.

Ora-Ora is delighted to be showing Korean artist Yi Yi Jeong-eun for the first time, an artist of striking spontaneity and light-spangled atmosphere. Furthermore, Berlin-based Joseph Tong will be presenting his work for the first time in South Korea. Juri Markkula and Stephen Thorpe, whose work made such an acute visual impact at Kiaf in 2022, return in 2023.

Speaking of the gallery’s return to Seoul, CEO and co-founder of Ora-Ora Dr. Henrietta Tsui-Leung said: “This year, we look forward to building on the friendships, connections and relationships we initiated in 2022. Seoul is a city with a lot to offer the world, and we want to be in its midst.” Commenting on the artist line-up, Dr. Tsui-Leung added: “Yi Yi Jeong-eun has a fresh, generous, intuitive visual style, and we’re excited to be presenting her in her home market. The combination with the individual styles of Juri, Joseph and Stephen will form a unique artistic conversation.”
